Bio

David Staples

David Staples was born in Lynchburg, VA in 1970 and later relocated to North Carolina with his family. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill in 1992 with a BA in Mass Communications he moved again to Los Angeles in the pursuit of happiness. Since then he has been a marketing manager, a bartender, a temp, and an assistant florist, but always an artist as well.

David is primarily self-taught like his late grandmother, Mary Cedarbaum, a talented painter who encouraged and inspired her grandson over the years.

This his first exhibition includes works from 2000 to 2006.
