Noemi Torres

Noemi Torres was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. An artistic woman, with beliefs that women could be anything they wanted to be, moved to Seattle Washington at thirteen years of age. The culture shock made her strive for the arts and languages. At an early age, Noemi discovered she had a good eye for photography.

“Freezing a moment”, she said “is amazing to me. You can always look back and remember the colors, weather, smells at the time the picture was taken”.

She took classes in photography and learned Japanese in High School.

Noemi graduated from Seattle Central Community College with an Arts degree. She then transferred to the University of Washington and pursued a degree in economics.

Since 2003, Noemi resides in the California area pursuing her photography career.
